What Happened to America?
George Washington, perhaps the greatest leader this nation has ever known, once said:
It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor.
This 4th of July is a day to remember with gratitude the freedom God has graciously bestowed on the United States of America for 250 years. God has blessed our nation when we humbly acknowledged our need for Him. In the past, greater reverence for God and the Bible existed. Today, many show little, if any, need or reverence for God. Sadly, there is more division than unity as we witness the reality of a spiritual battle between good and evil.
What has brought about such rejection of the loving God who created us in His image? Why are more and more people believing lies and deceit instead of the biblical truth God provided to lead, guide, and protect us?
Much has changed in our world, but one specific area of concern is the social engineering of our children that is taking place in our school system under the guise of sex ed. This sex ed component may be included as part of the Comprehensive Health Education curriculum in schools.
Why is this such a serious concern for our nation? Because this strategy of using sex ed for social change is undermining parental authority, undermining God’s authority, and exploiting America’s youth, putting them at great risk of making unhealthy choices.
It is a strategy to deceive and manipulate the youth of America through sex education for thirteen years, K-12th Grade. It’s a means of social engineering with a goal of social change that serves the self-interests of those initiating and promoting it. This has been taking place in America for the last several decades and has already had a negative impact on several generations of America’s youth.
God, through the Bible, has defined marriage and what is considered natural and healthy sex. What is being allowed in many of our public schools is a re-defining of what is considered to be natural. Students are then deceived into believing that unhealthy sexual behavior is natural and healthy. This is putting America’s youth at great risk of making unhealthy, dangerous choices. Kids are even being manipulated into questioning their gender identity, causing them great confusion, anxiety, and depression.
Why would any organization be allowed to re-define what God has already defined, and then be granted permission to persuade young children to agree with their new definitions?
Don’t you find it interesting that for over two hundred years, none of this teaching existed in America? Instead, young people were taught truth that could help them, rather than lies that mislead and hurt them. Children were even free to recite the pledge of allegiance in school, acknowledging we are one nation under God. God honored that by blessing and protecting this great nation because we acknowledged our need for Him. There was a rightful reverence for our Creator.
For over two hundred years, school-aged kids were protected from being exploited, deceived, or manipulated into believing abortion is okay, and that same sex relationships are as natural as heterosexual relationships. Children did not question their identity as to whether they were a boy or a girl. They naturally knew they were what God created them to be.
What happened to America over the last several decades to bring about such radical social change?
